PURPOSE:  Dignity/NoVA's primary purpose is to sponsor a weekly mass in the Roman Catholic tradition for the local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender, Questioning (LGBTQ) community of Northern Virginia. In addition to establishing a nurturing community for worship, spiritual development, fellowship and education, we seek to provide a healing outreach to LGBTQ Catholics by affirming that all people are children of God; and we seek to be a prophetic witness of Jesus' teachings and message to the Church, to the LGBTQ community, and to society through the spiritually unique and individual experiences of LGBTQ persons.
